On Tuesday evening, March 28, 2006, the crew of Engine 61 was honored by the Vancouver Fire Department for their participation at a recent structure fire in Vancouver where an occupant was rescued from the building and is recovering.

Engine 61 Crew Receives Award. On Tuesday evening, the crew of Engine 61 (right to left - Captain Mark Kramer, Firefighter/Paramedic Paul Olafson and Firefighter Dave Fisher) were honored by the Vancouver Fire Department for their role in the rescue and treatment of a person from a house fire in January. Congratulations to the crew for their fine work!
